Important Bits


Full day sessions at Sunflowers are £45 per day.

Full week, Monday to Friday, are £210 per week.

We offer a 5% sibling discount for a second child attending Sunflowers at the same time. This discount does not apply if the older child receives Government funding.

All fees are reviewed annually taking effect on 1st January each year.

To book a place at Sunflowers we require a deposit totaling the days you would like, this is then refunded back to you on your first nursery invoice.

We operate an invoice system and you will be given an annual statement of your fees in order to plan your payments.

Payments can be made via standing order, debit card or various Childcare Vouchers and are due one month in advance of attending nursery.

Annual Holiday and Absences

You are given one free week’s annual leave for your child, this being Christmas and New Year week when the nurseries are closed.

Full fees are still payable for any other holidays and Bank Holidays.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for any days lost due to a child’s sickness.


Funding is available for all children aged 3 and 4 years, commencing the term following their 3rd birthday.

Currently we offer up to 30 funded hours, depending on your eligibility. We also offer 2 year old funding to those who are eligible.

At Sunflowers we have invested in Tapestry, an Online Learning Journal, were you will be able to view photographs and observations completed on your child, and be able to see how your child is developing through the Early Years Foundation Stage, EYFS. As parents you will be able to upload your special events and add your comments to your child’s Learning Journey.

SEND Statement

Sunflowers Day Nurseries (EY) Ltd ensures all children have access to a wide and balanced curriculum. We will provide a differentiated curriculum appropriate to the child’s individual needs and abilities. Sunflowers will ensure the identification of all children requiring SEND provision as early as possible. We will keep in regular contact with SEND children parents, updating them on development, meetings coming up and their participation in their child’s support plan. Sunflowers Day Nurseries (EY) Ltd will create an environment where children can contribute to their own learning, where they feel safe, secure and listened too.

We believe that our safer recruitment practices, and our robust Policies and Procedures ensure our workforce is safe and suitable to work with children.

Staff qualifications

All our staff have Basic Food Hygiene, Pediatric First Aid and extensive Safeguarding training. We are constantly updating our knowledge in all areas of childcare.
